Initial Consultation (Free meet and greet)

Meet the designer: Sure, her or his style of design is important, but of even greater importance is the designer's personality and how it meshes with yours. You need to be on a comfortable level with your designer so you can discuss likes and dislikes and make changes or alterations in a plan without feeling uncomfortable. At Castlebury House we want the finished product to reflect you, not have just the "designer look". Consultation: The initial phase of our work begins with a consultation. It is our goal during that consultation to begin to develop a sense of your taste and your dreams for your home. We discuss the things you already have and how we can incorporate them, if you wish. We talk about what you like and dislike about your home. We talk about how you would ultimately like the feel of your house to be. Then, we help you to think about priorities and the best way to use your time, energy, and money to reach your goals. Decorating Scheme: The next step of our work consists of a shopping service in combination with continuing consultations in your home. During this time, we select an assortment of the decorative items we suggest and bring them to you. We provide a floor plan, if you need one, and talk about the options that are available. We develop an overall plan to suit your needs and budget.

The designer can help with future space planning, style, colors, furniture selection etc. which can make the transition a smooth one and timeless one.

Shopping Services

Castlebury House will shop for you or with you if you need us. This can be a time saver for the client. We can bring everything you want right to your home for approval. We can return what you don't. Shopping for fabrics and wallpapers can be overwhelming. We find this shopping is better for us to shop for and bring selections to you.

Color Consultation

This is very important. Color can change a mood so quickly and there are a few factors in choosing the right one for the space. We have many samples that we will bring to the home. When we are ready to settle on a color we can paint a sample board for you and make certain it is going to work. We suggest you see it in the daylight and the night with artificial light. If it is right we will know and place the order. It is also imperative we consider all adjoining rooms for a nice flow of colors.

Move-In Services Our clients have raved about this service. We can draw floor plans for the new house before the furniture arrives and tell the movers exactly where it should go, Have window treatments up and music on and the wine poured even before you arrive! Special Occasion Decorating It's hectic enough when you are planning a special occasion now you don't have that worry of decorating too. We can do it for you. We will analyze every detail of your home from the front door and curb appeal to the storage issues inside your home. We provide an objective eye while guiding you on how to arrange the entire home for the best possible effect, help you reduce clutter, and offer you additional suggestions. This is accomplished using your existing furniture and accessories to create a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Sometimes we may propose purchasing accessories to enhance or warm up the space.
