Why should I hire a Designer?
Aren't designers expensive?
Don't designers just work on huge homes?
What if I don't like something the designer suggests?
How do designers charge?
Do I have to use the designer's resources?
What should I expect from a designer?

Interior Designers have professional training. They have the experience to manage all the details of a project from inception to installation. It is wise to hire a designer to guide you in the right direction in order for you to bring your dreams to fruition and avoid costly mistakes and save you money in the long run.
Designers actually save you money. You will avoid costly mistakes and share in the designer's "trade only discounts" and their resources.
Absolutely not. The size does not matter, all homes are important and deserve to be beautiful.
Not a problem, in fact the designer will want your opinion on everything, you are in complete control. Before any decision is made you sign off on approval of each item.
Our method of charging is per hour. When purchasing from a trade only showroom, the client shares in the discount, never paying more than 10% below retail, this is a benefit for the client. When purchasing retail - the client will pay retail. Because the designer charges by the hour there's no need to depend on markup.
No. You may use your own. The designer will work with them to see they carry out the specifications, however the trades people you choose won't be guaranteed by Castlebury House.
You should expect your designer to "listen" to your desires and ideas. This will enable the designer to define your taste. It is important for the designer to be available for the simplest of concerns you may have. A designer should be excited for you during this project and give it 100%.
